CHARLOTTE CHAPPEL
Charlotte F. Chappel, a resident of White Salmon for
the past three years, died Saturday, at Skyline Hospital in White Salmon
at the age of 62.
Mrs. Chappel was born May 14, 1921, in Tulsa, Okla.,
to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reinero. She grew up in Klamath Falls, Ore., and married
Gene Chappel in 1974 in Reedsport, Ore. She lived in Monterey, Calif., and
was a bookkeeper for a Ford dealership prior to coming to White Salmon. She
was a member of the Rebekah Lodge and Episcopalian Church.
She is survived by her husband, Gene, White Salmon; parents,
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Reinero, Yuma, Ariz.; two sons, Michael Chappel, Santa
Margarita, Calif., and David Chappel, White Salmon; two daughters, Linda,
Salinas, Calif., and Denise Sears, White Salmon; and two grandsons, Shane
and Kyle Sears, White Salmon.
Services were held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Gardner Funeral
Home with Pastor Pat Dillon officiating. Interment was in White Salmon.
