CARL F. BELDING
Carl Frank Belding Sr. of BZ Corners died at home last
Wednesday. He was 70.
Mr. Belding was born Feb. 23, 1923 in Zinc, Ark. To William
Louis and Pearlie (Kelly) Belding. He spent his early childhood in Arkansas.
He married Geneva Smith in 1947. He served in the U.S. Army from 1943-'45
during World War II. They moved to Tieton, Wash. in 1957 where he was employed
in orchard work.
In 1965 they moved to White Salmon. He was employed as
a logger until his health caused his retirement. He enjoyed hunting and had
a real love for animals.
He is survived by his wife, Geneva, of BZ Corners; son
and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Dodie Belding of Lyle; daughter, Joyce Belding
of Vancouver; grandchildren, Rodger Belding of BZ Corners, Tim Essex of Lyle,
Robin Smith of The Dalles; and five great grandchildren; numerous nieces
and nephews in Washington and Arkansas.
He was preceded in death by his father, mother and son,
Carl F. Belding Jr. and three brothers, Homer, Authur, and James and sister,
Edith.
Funeral services were held Saturday at White Salmon Cemetery.
Gardner Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
