CLARA THOMAS RITES SATURDAY
Mrs. Robert (Clara F.) Thomas, a resident of Trout Lake
the last 23 years, died at Skyline Hospital Wednesday, Nov. 20, after a three
year battle against cancer.
Funeral service will be in the Congregational Church,
White Salmon at 11 a.m. Saturday, November 23. Burial will be in the Goodwill
cemetery. Rev. Roger Clevenger will officiate.
Mrs. Thomas was born in Montana August 20, 1914. She
is survived by her husband Robert B. Thomas, T.L; one daughter Verna Thomas
Stanton, T.L.; and two sons, Robert Thomas, Annaheim, Calif., and James Thomas
of Trout Lake; two grandchildren; two brothers, Milford Bull, Vancouver;
Orval Bull, Annaheim, Calif.; half sisters Ida Bell Gordon, Gladys Wohler,
Elma Nelson, Pauline Smith all of T.D., Ore; and Wilma Langley, Portland;
brothers Lester and Alfred Stoop of The Dalles.

SERVICE SATURDAY FOR MRS. THOMAS
Clara F. Thomas was born in Montana on August 28, 1914.
She had made her residence in Trout Lake for the past 23 years until her
death on November 20, 1963 at Skyline Hospital in White Salmon, Washington.
Surviving her is her husband, Robert B. Thomas of Trout
Lake, Washington; a daughter, Vera Thomas Stanton of Trout Lake; two sons,
Robert of Anaheim, California; and James of Trout Lake; and two grandchildren.
Also surviving are her five half-sisters: Ida Bell Gordon, Gladys Kohler,
Elma Nelson and Pauline Smith all of The Dalles, Oregon, and Wilma Langley
of Portland, Oregon; and two half-brothers: Lester Stoop of The Dalles, Oregon,
and Alfred Stoop of The Dalles, Oregon.
Funeral Services will be Saturday, November 23, 1963,
at the Bethel Congregational Church at 11 a.m. Interment will be at the Goodwill
Cemetery in White Salmon. The Rev. Mr. Roger Clevenger will officiate at
the services.
