CARL F. GULER
Carl F. Guler of Trout Lake died Thursday, August 25,
1994 in Hood River; he was 76.
Mr. Guler was born Feb. 23, 1918 in Portland to Emma
(Kohler) and Antone Guler. He grew up on a homestead in Trout Lake, graduated
from Trout Lake High School and went on to school at the University of
Washington.
He served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1942-1945. After
discharge he lived in the Portland area then spent many years in Florence,
Or. He returned to Trout Lake in November, 1992.
He was a member of the Elks and Moose Lodges, loved to
golf, read and listen to classical music.
Mr. Guler was preceded in death by his sister Hilda Cameron
and brother Tony Guler.
He is survived by his nephews Dick Cameron of Studio
City, and Norman Guler of White Salmon; his nieces Lois Bryan of Renton,
WA., Janet Hylton of Trout Lake, and Joyce Stoller of Raymond; his sister
Eunice Guler of White Salmon and numerous grand nephews and nieces.
At his request no public services were held.
The Gardner Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
