CHARLES H. CAMPBELL
Charles H. (Club) Campbell, 92, died Dec. 5 in Goldendale.
Mr. Campbell was born March 24, 1887 at Downs, Kan.,
and moved to Goldendale in 1888. His parents homesteaded on a farm near Spring
Creek. He farmed the same land until he lost his eyesight in 1956. In 1959
he sold the farm and moved to Goldendale.
He was a 54-year member of the Goldendale Grange and
was a past Master.
Surviving are his wife, Cassella F. Campbell; a son,
Terry Campbell; a daughter, Debbie Campbell; and six grandchildren.
Services were Dec. 8 at Knosher's, Darius Morris and
Gerald Vintherr officiating. Burial was in the Spring Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Henry Culver, Thurman Ward, Walter Hamilton,
Dale Loofburrow, Cyrus Forry, and Arthur Winterstein.
Honorary pallbearers were Harry Mesecher, Carl Crooks,
Orville Hamilton, John Bates, Merle Winterstein, and Eldon and Chester McKune.
