COKE JENKINS FUNERAL HELD SATURDAY
Coke Harvey Jenkins, 73, passed away last Wednesday at
Goldendale after an illness of two weeks.
Coke Jenkins and Minnie Huffsmith were married December
3, 1926 in Prosser, Washington.
Funeral services were held at the Phillips Chapel in
Goldendale, Saturday morning, with the Rev. Arthur Campbell officiating.
Interment followed in the Glenwood Cemetery.
Mr. Jenkins, a resident of Glenwood for the past 32 years,
leaves a widow, Minnie M. Jenkins and six step-children; Grace Carsh, Metzger,
Oregon; Edwin Huffsmith, Doris Criss, White Salmon, Bert Huffsmith, Emma
Keel, and Eva Fellers, Glenwood.
Other survivors are a sister Josephine Jenkins of Portland,
13 grandchildren and 10 Great grandchildren.
Mr. Jenkins was born February 22, 1885 at Maryhill.
Pallbearers at his rites were Will Allbritton, William
Leaton, Merle Akerill, George Wellenbrock, Fred Feller and Henry Ladiges,
Jr.
