CHARLES H. PEARSON
Charles H. Pearson, who had served four years in the
Coast Guard during World War II, died of cancer in Vancouver Sunday, Sept.
26, 1993. He was 75.
Survivors include his wife, Leola, at home; three daughters,
Karen Pearson of Vancouver, Paula McNamee of Milwaukie and Thelma Spencer
of Beaverton.
Mr. Pearson was born July 7, 1918, in Trout Lake. He
lived in Trout Lake 35 years before moving to Vancouver 40 years ago. Mr.
Pearson had worked at Honeyman Hardwood in Portland and later sold hardware
in Oregon. He retired from working in real estate. Mr. Pearson, who enjoyed
traveling and gardening, was a member and elder at Columbia Presbyterian
Church.
A funeral will begin at 3 p.m. Thursday at Columbia
Presbyterian Church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice Southwest
or to the church.
