CHARLES H. PORTER
Charles Howard Porter, 57, of 2395 Redwood Ave. died
Tuesday (May 3, 1966) at Josephine General Hospital. Born in Eastern Oregon,
Jan. 5, 1909, he came here from White Salmon, Wash., and was employed by
Copeland Sand and Gravel.
He was a charter member of the Elks Lodge at White Salmon,
and also belonged to the Masonic Lodge there.
Survivors include the widow, Theda Jane, Grants Pass;
a daughter, Mrs. Jo Aston, Ashland, and three grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are pending at Hull and Hull Chapel

Charles Howard Porter, 57, who died Tuesday, will lie
in state today (May 5, 1966) from 3 to 7 p.m. in Hull and Hull Chapel. Burial
will be in White Salmon, Wash. Saturday, May 7.
Omitted from the list of survivors was a daughter, Florence
Lane of Brookings.
