CATHY JO MARQUIS

     Cathy Jo Marquis of Goldendale died Monday, Dec. 6 at her home, she was 42.
     Mrs. Marquis was born in Nampa, Idaho on Aug. 27, 1951 to Jeanette (Lenke) and James P. Clemmer.
     She moved to Glenwood as a small child and graduated high school from Glenwood High School.
     After graduation she travelled to California where she worked at Yellowstone National Park, a job she loved. She moved back to Glenwood and married Ted Marquis in 1980. Together they lived in Yakima for a number of years before moving to Goldendale about a year ago.
     She was a member of the Glenwood Grange. She loved animals and riding horses. Some of her other favorite hobbies were shopping and travel.
     Survivors include her husband Ted of Goldendale; her daughters Kerry Newell of vancouver, Wash., and D.J. Marquis of Glenwood; her parents Jim and Jeanette Clemmer of Glenwood; and her brothers Terry Clemmer of Vancouver, and Jimmy Clemmer of Glenwood.
     Funeral Services will be held today (Thursday) Dec. 9, at 11 a.m. at White Salmon's Gardner Funeral Home. The Rev. Keith Wellman will officiate the service.
     The family suggests that contributions be given to the American Cancer Society.

     Cathy Jo Marquis, 42, of Goldendale passed away December 6, 1993 at her home.

     Funeral services will be held Thursday Dec. 9 at 11 a.m. at Gardner Funeral Home in White Salmon with the Rev. Keith Wellman officiating. A vault interment will be at Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood.
