COOLIDGE
Mr. Charles K. Coolidge, Sr., 80, of Dallesport, passed
away April 24, 1993 at his daughter's home in Beaver Creek, Ore.
He was born April 21, 1913 in Portland to Carl and Irene
Coolidge. The family moved to Glenwood where Charles attended schools.
Charles and May Steindorf were united in marriage in
January, 1931 in Klickitat. Charles worked as a saw filer at the lumber mill
for many years and had moved to Dallesport in 1985.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed mushroom
hunting and reading.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Joe (Lucille)
Brown of Marble Mountain, Wash.; Mrs. Robert (Beatrice) Lucas of San Rafael,
Calif.; and Mrs. Van (Joanne) Brown of Beaver Creek, Ore. Two sons, Carl
of Dallesport and Charles Jr. of San Fransisco, Calif.; 15 grandchildren,
15 great-grandchildren; one brother, Stanley Coolidge of Florence, Ore. also
survive.
Funeral services were held April 27, 1993 in the chapel
of Erdman Funeral Home with Pastor James Larson officiating. Interment was
at Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood.
Pallbearers were his grandsons, Tim and Joe Brown, Jr.,
Carl and David Coolidge, Raymond Keith, Dave and Robert Hodges, Jr., Walt
Brown and Mike Brown.

Charles K. Coolidge Sr., 80, a resident of Dallesport
and a former resident of Glenwood and Klickitat, died at his daughter's home
in Beaver Creek on April 24.
He was born April 21, 1913 in Portland to Carl and Irene
Coolidge. The family moved to Glenwood where he attended school.
