CLINTON CONKLIN SERVICES FRIDAY
Clinton L. Conklin passed away at Klickitat Valley Hospital
in Goldendale, Washington after a long illness. He was born in Lincoln, Nebraska,
November 27, 1887.
Mr. Conklin was well known in the Lyle area as a farmer
and logger. He had lived there all his life except for the last ten years
when he lived at Prineville, Oregon.
He is survived by: his wife, Etta Conklin of Lyle; a
daughter, Viola Embree of North Port, Was., two step-daughters, Gladys Brubaker
and Pricilla Box of Lyle; a son, Lawrence L. Conklin of Prineville; and seven
grandchildren.
One son, Clarence Conklin preceded him in death December
26, 1936.
Funeral services will be Friday February 2nd, at 1:30
p.m. at Gardner's Funeral home in White Salmon, Wash.
Interment will be in the Balch Cemetery
in Lyle.
Rev. Mr. Donald Kaelin of the United Methodist Church
of White Salmon will officiate at the service.

SERVICES FOR C.L. CONKLIN
Clinton L. Conklin, 85, died Monday, Jan. 29, in Goldendale,
Wn., at Klickitat Valley Hospital. Born Nov. 27, 1887, in Lincoln, Neb.,
he had lived in Prineville for the last ten years. Prior to this he had lived
in Lyle, Wn., and was a farmer and a logger.
He is survived by his wife, Etta, of Lyle, Wn.; a daughter
Viola Embree of Northport, Wn.; a son, Lawrence L. Conklin, Prineville; two
step-daughters, Gladys Brubaker and Pricilla Box, both of Lyle. A son, Clarence
Conklin, preceded him in death in 1936. There are also seven grandchildren.
Services will be held on Friday Feb. 2, at Gardner's
Funeral Home in White Salmon, Wn., at 1:30 p.m., with the Rev. Donald Kaelin
of the United Methodist Church, White Salmon, Wn., officiating. Interment
will be in Balch Cemetery at Lyle, Wn.
