CARL LUDWIG WITIKKA
Carl Ludwig Witikka was born in Centerville, Washington,
January 8, 1878, and died at Cliffs, Washington, May 2, 1935, his age being
57 years, 3 months and 25 days. This was the second Finnish child to be born
in Klickitat, spending his entire life in the Centerville community.
He leaves to mourn his loss three sisters and three brothers:
Mary Halonen, of Endicott, New York; J.W. Witikka, of Kelso, Wash.; F.O.
Witikka, of Hartland, Wash.; P.K. Witikka, of Woodland, Wash.; Minnie Anderson
and Emma Pernula, Deep River, Wash.; three sister-in-laws, and one
brother-in-law, together with a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were held from the Centerville Church
of Christ Sunday, May 5th, at 2:00 P.M., Elder S.C. Eshelman officiating,
with M.W. Chapman in charge. Interment was made in the Grange cemetery at
Centerville.
