"Lyle"

The friends of Mrs. Fred Norris of Appleton, were shocked Thursday to learn of her sudden death. Mr. Norris was alone with her at that time of her death, and she passed away twenty minutes after she was stricken with heart failure. The son, D.S. Norris, and family were spending their vacation at White Fish, Montana, and were called home by the sad news. Mrs. Norris was of a kind and loving disposition that gained her friends wherever she went. She was also an acknowledged leader. She was working on a block for an autograph quilt to be sold to raise funds for the parsonage at Appleton, a few minutes before she was stricken. The family has the sympathy of their many friends in their great loss.
Mrs. C.H. Brune of Granddalles, attended the funeral services of Mrs. Norris, Sunday, at Appleton.
