RESIDENT PASSES
Carl M. Rosenkrantz, a resident of the Cook-Willard area,
died Dec. 9, 1990 at Skyline Hospital. He was 81.
Mr. Rosenkrantz was born Jan. 31, 1909 to Charles and
Katrina Rosenkrantz. He was raised on Underwood Mountain. In 1937 he moved
to the Cook area. He was a faller for Broughton Lumber Company for 38 years
and retired in 1973.
He is survived by his wife, Ernestine, of Cook; three
grandsons, Chris, Henry, and Wade Griffith all of Lyle, and two great
grandchildren of The Dalles.
Graveside services were Wednesday, Dec. 12, at the Chris
Zada Cemetery in Underwood with the Rev. Jack Randall officiating.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the Skyline Foundation
or a charity of choice.

Carl M. Rosenkranz, an Underwood Mountain native, died
Dec. 9, 1990, in Skyline Hospital. He was 81.
Mr. Rosenkrantz was born in Underwood on Jan. 31, 1909,
to Charles and Katrina Rosenkranz. He was raised on Underwood Mountain, moving
to the Cook-Willard area in 1937 where he resided ever since. He was a faller
for Broughton Lumber Company for 38 years, retiring in 1973. He liked to
work crossword puzzles.
He is survived by his wife, Ernestine, Cook; grandsons,
Chris, Henry, and Wade Griffith all of Lyle, and two great grandchildren
Steven and Katherine Griffith. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Katherine.
Graveside services for Mr. Rosenkranz were held Wednesday
at Chris Zada Cemetery in Underwood, with Rev. Jack Randall officiating.
Contributions may be given to Skyline Foundation or a
charity of your choice.
