CLARA N. HORNBACK

     Mrs. Clara N. Hornback, 87, of Montesano, passed away on Friday, March 17, 1995 in Goldendale.
     She was born on August 8, 1907 in Nisland, S.D. to Jacob and Libya Mahlock. She attended schools in South Dakota.
     She married Wesley Hornback in May, 1935 in Belle Foursche, S.D. The family moved to Oregon in 1956 and after her husband died in 1957 she returned to South Dakota, later moving back to Washington in 1973.
     She was a member of the Catholic Church and enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting.
     She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Laura Kay.
     She is survived by two sons, Wes and John of Dallesport; nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
     Graveside services were held March 21 at Holy Trinity Cemetery with Fr. Thomas V. Lane officiating.
     Arrangements were under the care of Erdman Funeral Home.
