CLIFFORD D. OLSON

     Clifford D. Olson of Stevenson died last week at The Dalles. He was 80.
     Mr. Olson was born Nov. 20, 1911 in Big Timber, Mont. to Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Olson. After spending childhood in Montana he moved to Bingen in 1936 and married Audrey Martzall in 1952. The couple moved to Stevenson in 1954 where Mr. Olson worked for Rudy Hegewald and Skamania County School District. He was very active in the Eagles Lodge 1744 and liked to hunt, fish, camp and play cribbage.
     He is survived by wife, Audrey of Stevenson; children, Millie Maguire of Carson, Juanita Prichard of Stevenson, and Garry L. Olson of Stevenson; sisters, Sadie Pollock of Longview, Millie Radcliff of Renton, and Betty Jones of Sheridan, Wyo.; brother, Ora Olson of Harding, Mont.; six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
     Funeral services were held Monday at Gardner Funeral Chapel in Stevenson. Contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Association.

STEVENSON RESIDENT DIES

     Clifford D. Olson of Stevenson died Sept. 29, 1992. He was 80. He was born to Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Olson in Big Timber, Mont., on Nov. 20, 1911. Mr. Olson grew up in Montana. He moved to Bingen in 1936. On July 12, 1952, he married Audrey Martzall and they moved to Stevenson in 1954. He worked at Hegewalds Mill and for the Skamania County School District for many years. He was a member of Eagles Lodge 1744 and enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and playing cribbage. Mr. Olson is survived by: his wife of Stevenson; son Garry of Stevenson; daughters Millie Maguire of Carson, Juanita Prichard of Stevenson; sisters, Sadie Pollock of Longview, Millie Radcliff of Renton, Betty Jones of Sheridan, Wyo.; a brother, Ora Olson of Harding, Mont.; and six grandchildren and eight great grand-children. Private services were held at the Gardner Funeral Chapel in Stevenson officiated by the Eagles Lodge on Oct. 5. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association.
