CARL PEARSON
Carl Pearson, a pioneer of Trout Lake, died April 20
at Vashon Island at the age of 92.
Mr. Pearson was born July 14, 1889, in Trout Lake to
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pearson. He spent 50 years of his life in Trout Lake
and the last two years in Vashon Island. He was a retired farmer and a member
of the Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by a son, Robert Pearson, Milwaukie, Ore.;
two daughters, Erma Libbey, Kent, and Carole Pederson, Burton; one brother,
George Pearson, White Salmon; one sister, Elva Woodruff, Trout Lake; 12
grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mr. Pearson were held Sunday at
3 p.m. at Mt. Adams Baptist Church in Trout Lake, with Rev. Ron Holcomb
officiating. Interment was at Trout Lake Cemetery.
