"Lyle" (From last week)
Carl R., age 20 years, the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. Andrews of Lyle, was almost instantly killed last Monday, Mar. 2, when he fell from a pile of logs, where he was working at West Fir, Ore. The body was brought to Lyle Thursday, and from there it was taken to the Appleton cemetery for burial. Carl had lived in and near Lyle since a small child, so had many friends who extend their sympathy to the family. He leaves two brothers, a mother and a father to mourn his loss.

WESTFIR LOGGER IS KILLED IN ACCIDENT
Carl Andrews, 20, an employee of the Western Logging
company at Westfir, was killed Monday when he fell from a tree, fracturing
his skull.
The body was brought to Eugene yesterday, and will be
shipped to his home at Lyle, Wash., where his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C.M.
Andrews, reside.
