CHARLES T. MURRAY

     Charles T. Murray, 64, of Goldendale, died Sept. 10, 1999 at his home.
     He was born March 1, 1935 in Oakdale, Calif. to Charles and Nellie Murray. Charles attended schools in California and served in the US. Navy during the early 1950s. Charles worked in heavy construction and had lived in many places. He and Karen Johnson were married Feb. 22, 1980 in Stevenson. They moved to Goldendale in 1996.
     Charles was a member of the Catholic Church and was an avid rock hound. He enjoyed wood-working and gardening.
     Survivors include his wife, Karen of Goldendale; three sons, Victor Murray of Modesto, Calif., Seth Brown of Vancouver, and Rhett Brown of Portland, Ore.; three daughters, Julie Granzella of Knights Ferry, Calif., Laurie Prather of La Grange, Calif., and Michelle Oelike of Helena, Mont.; and five grandchildren.
     A memorial Mass will be said on Saturday, Sept. 18 at 11 am. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Fr. William Byron officiating. Erdman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
