OBITUARY
Clarence Victor Anderson was born at Pleasant Valley,
Klickitat County, Wash., Sept. 13, 1884 where he grew to manhood and spent
the most of his life. Having a natural liking for farming, he followed the
occupation of his father and farmed the old home place in Pleasant Valley
for a number of years. About five years ago ill health compelled him to give
up his work, and he moved to Goldendale, where he spent the balance of his
days.
At an early age he united with the Church of Christ under
the preaching of Bro. S.O. Pool of Wenatchee, Wash., and lived a faithful
Christian until death.
He leads to mourn his loss, his mother, Mrs. Lena Anderson,
one brother, F.H. Anderson, both of Goldendale; and one sister, Mrs. C.W.
Short, of Cliffs, Wash. His father, Peter Anderson, and an infant brother
preceded him to the Great Beyond.
He passed away May 12, 1925, at the age of 40 years,
7 months and 29 days.
Funeral services will be conducted this afternoon from
the Chapman chapel, Evangelist L.F. Clipp of Wenatchee, officiating, to be
followed by interment in the Pleasant Valley cemetery.
