CLAUDE DEVINE DIES SUDDENLY

     Funeral services for Claude Wesley Devine, who passed away suddenly Monday, December 2 following a heart attack will be held Friday, December 6 (today) at the Gardner Chapel in Stevenson at 1:30 p.m.
     The. Rev. Homer Coulson of the Community church of Husum will officiate and burial will be at the Goodwill cemetery in White Salmon. Casket bearers are Jack Franckowiak, George McLean, Troy Mansfield, Harold Cole, Art Cole, and Irvin Heizer.

HERE SINCE 1946

     Mr. Devine had lived in North Bonneville since 1946 and operated the barber shop there. He was born July 19, 1898 near Esmond, Kingsbury County, South Dakota and was 65 years of age at the time of his death.
     He was a member of the Skamania County Rod & Gun Club and the North Bonneville Chamber of Commerce.
     Hs is survived by his wife Sarah Jane Devine, two daughters, Mrs. Raylene Ruud of Edmonton, Alberta; Canada and Lois Hurst, Bonners Ferry, Idaho; and a son Earl Devine of Alhambra, California. There are also a number of grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

CLAUDE WESLEY DEVINE

     Claude Wesley Devine, resident of North Bonneville since 1946, passed away there suddenly of a heart attack December 2nd. Mr. Devine had a barber shop in North Bonneville. He was born July 19, 1898 in Kingsbury County, South Dakota the son of Lenora and Samuel Devine.
     He was a member of the North Bonneville Chamber of Commerce and the Skamania County Rod and Gun Club.
     Surviving are his wife, Sara Jane Devine of North Bonneville and four children by previous marriages: Mrs. Raylene Ruud of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; Lois Hurst of Bonners Ferry, Idaho; Judy Wonder Thomas of North Bonneville; a son, Earl Devine of Alhambra, Calif. There are a number of grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
     Funeral services will be held Friday, December 6, at 1:30 p.m. at the Gardner's Funeral Chapel in Stevenson with Rev. Homer Coulson of Husum, Wash., officiating. Interment will be in the Goodwill Cemetery, White Salmon, where his mother, Mrs. Lenora MacDonald was laid to rest in 1955.
