WILLIAM JUNG
Carl William Jung, 79, died at his home in Goldendale
August 4.
He was born July 5, 1912 in Cathaway, North Dakota to
William and Anna Marie Jung.
Jung, retired, had worked as a farmer and a mechanic,
working for Longview Fiber Company and the Washington State Highway Department,
retiring in Goldendale 17 years ago.
He was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church and
the Goldendale Grange.
Jung is survived by his wife Mary Ellen, two daughters,
Shirley Ann Bower of Goldendale and Mary Lee Stenwall of Seattle, one son,
William of Lincoln City, Oregon, one brother, Edmund of Longview, Washington,
a sister, Irma Kittle of Bishop, California, and a grandson, Jon Bowers.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, August 7 at
Holy Trinity Catholic Church with Father Seamus Kerr as Celebrant.
Pallbearers were Marvin Lang, George Wright, John Lake,
Paul Murphy, Charles Hoctor and Nat Porter.
Interment was in Holy Trinity Cemetery, Goldendale.
