DONALD SCOTT
Donald C. Scott, a longtime Lyle resident, died Saturday
in The Dalles, at the age of 72.
Mr. Scott was born July 22, 1912, in Iowa City, Iowa,
to Mr. and Mrs. Andrew I. Scott. He was raised in Iowa and lived there until
1941 when he moved to Gresham. He moved to Chehalis in 1960 and then to Lyle.
He was a farmer and member of the United Methodist Church in Lyle.
He is survived by his wife, Gladys; children, Alan J.
Scott, Kennewick; Carolyn Knauer, Puyallup; Wilbur Ralph Scott, Oxnard, Calif.,
and Ivan C. Scott, Toledo, Ohio; a sister-in-law, Clara Scott, Tangent, Ore.;
10 grandchildren; three great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Services were Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the United Methodist
Church in Lyle, with the Rev. Carol Davies officiating. Interment was at
Balch Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to Skyline Ambulance Fund.
