DAGMARA DEIDERS
Dagmara Erika Deiders, Trout Lake, died on Tuesday, May
27, 2003, at her home, at the age of 93.
She was born to Paul Eduard and Juliana (Ogle) Weinberg
on March 12, 1910, in Jelgava, Latvia, where she completed high school. In
June of 1933, she married Peteris Voldemars Deiders in Valmiera, Latvia.
They both worked for a meat exporting company. She was a laboratory technician.
They lived in Valmiera, Latvia, until Sept. 22, 1944, when they had to leave
home due to the approaching Russian Army. They moved to Germany, living mostly
in Wurzburg, Germany until September 1949, when they received sponsorship
from George and Ethel Pearson of Trout Lake to come to the United States.
They arrived in Trout Lake on Oct. 9, 1949.
Mrs. Deiders enjoyed gardening and flower growing until
her health failed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Peteris V.
Deiders.
She is survived by sons Herbert, Vilhelms, John and Andris
and daughter Inese B. Allaway, all of Trout Lake; daughter Anita E. Langfield,
Springfield, Ore., and Zigrida Simmons, Tacoma; seven grandchildren and 10
great-grandchildren.
Interment was at the Trout Lake Cemetery.
Gardner Funeral Home handled arrangements.
