GOODWIN
Donald E. Goodwin, 81, of Goldendale passed away Saturday,
April 30, at his home.
Mr. Goodwin was born September 11, 1906 in Vancouver
to Walter and Ethel Goodwin. He and his family came by covered wagon to Toppenish
where they raised cattle. He spent most of his life working in paper mills
in Alaska and the West Coast.
Mr. Goodwin is survived by his wife, Ruth, of Goldendale;
one son, Donald B. Goodwin, Salem, Ore., and two daughters, Marian E. Kilgore
of Sweet Home, Ore., and Carol L. Goulart, Goldendale. He is further survived
by eleven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, and one sister, Doris B.Furst,
McMinnville, Oregon.
No services are scheduled. Inurnment will be in Spring
Creek Cemetery under the direction of Knosher-Erdman Funeral Home. Memorials
may be made to Mt. Adams Care Center.
