FINAL RITES FOR DAVID E. WARK LYLE RESIDENT
David Earl Wark passed away August 9th at The
Dalles General Hospital in The Dalles, Oregon. He was born in Harrison, Idaho
on May 19, 1893 to Robert and Helen Wark.
He had made Lyle, Washington his residence since 1932
and had worked for J. Neils Logging Company and St. Regis as a resaw operator
for many years. He retired in 1959.
On August 11, 1951, he married Margaret M. French at
Lyle, Washington.
He was a veteran of World War I and had belonged to the
American Legion Post #116 of Goldendale, Washington for 38 years.
Surviving him is his wife, Margaret M. Wark of Lyle,
Washington; a sister, Grace Morrow of Long Beach, Ca., two brothers: Joseph
Wark of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; Clyde Wark of Castle Rock, Wash.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 11th at
11:00 a.m. at Gardner's Funeral Home in White Salmon, Washington. Interment
was in Lyle, Washington. The Rev. Clare Brown of Lyle officiated.
