DORIS HAVENS
Doris J. Havens, a Lyle resident since 1953, died in
The Dalles July 24, at the age of 63.
Mrs. Havens was born Oct. 22, 1921, in Pomona, Mo., to
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Webb. The homemaker came to Lyle in 1953 from Willow Springs,
Mo. She was a member of the Southern Baptist Association.
Mrs. Havens is survived by her husband, James, Lyle;
her mother, Lilly Webb, Willow Springs, Mo.; children, Harold, Tigard, Ore.,
Charles, Portland, Daryl, Camas, and Lu, The Dalles; sisters, Fern Spence
and Melba Webb, both of Willow Springs, Mo., and Joyce Bryan, Lyle; and seven
grandchildren.
Graveside services for Mrs. Havens were held Saturday
at Balch Cemetery in Lyle, with Rev. Les Haarstad officiating.
