CHILD DROWNED IN IRRIGATION DITCH AT TROUT LAKE
Deanna Jo Knutson, aged one and a half years, died Saturday,
June 1, from drowning in the irrigation ditch at her home in Trout Lake,
Washington.
Deanna Jo Knutson was born on Oct. 2, 1938, in White
Salmon, and is survived by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Earl Knutson, her
sister, Susan and one brother, Dennis, all of Trout Lake.
Funeral services were held in the Trout Lake church on
Sunday, June 2, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Good, of Trout Lake, officiating.
Interment was in the Trout Lake cemetery. Gardner's Funeral service, of White
Salmon, had charge of arrangements.

Dean Jo Knutson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Knutson
of the lower Trout Lake valley, was born October 2, 1938. She died June 1,
1940 at the age of 1 year, 7 months and 23 days. Death was caused by accidental
drowning.
She leaves to mourn her loss her parents, Mrs. and Mrs.
Earl Knutson; a sister, Susan Gayle, and a brother, Dennis Vernon; her
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Delwyn Allaway, and many other relatives. The
funeral service was held June 2, at the Trout Lake church with Rev. George
Good officiating. Burial was in the Trout Lake cemetery.
