DONNA L. CARTER
Funeral services for Donna Katt Carter of Underwood who
died Monday will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Gardner Funeral Home. She was
55.
Rev. Bruce McGuinnis will be officiating, committal to
follow at White Salmon Cemetery.
Mrs. Carter was born Dec. 11, 1937 in White Salmon to
Mary (Yanda) and William Katt. She graduated from Columbia High School in
1956 and lived in the area for the remainder of her years.
In 1969, Mrs. Carter was employed by the U.S. Fish and
Wildlife Service at the Spring Creek Fish Hatchery where she worked for 24
years.
She is survived by her children, Steven D. Carter, Todd A.
Carter, both of White Salmon and Penny L. Carter of Portland; five grandchildren,
Emily, Andrew, Scott, Jonathan, and Evan Carter, all of White Salmon; brothers,
Eugene J. Brown of Spokane, Lloyd A. Brown of San Pablo, Calif., and Robert
E. Katt of Portland.
Mrs. Carter was preceded in death by her parents, a sister
and son, Ronald J. Carter.
Gardner Funeral Services was in charge of arrangements.
