FUNERAL RITES HELD FOR MRS. F. LEATON

    Funeral services for Mrs. Frank C. (Dorothy Alta) Leaton were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 11, at Glenwood.           Gardner's Funeral Home in White Salmon was in charge of arrangements. The Roger L. Clevenger officiated, with the assistance of the Rev. Clarence Twigg. Burial was in the Mt. Adams cemetery in Glenwood.
    Mrs. Leaton was born January 6, 1919, at Lyle, the daughter of the late Clyde and Mary Nichols. She attended Columbia high school from 1934-1936.
     She died Saturday, Aug. 26, 1961, at Vancouver Memorial hospital where she had been a patient since Aug. 10.
     Mrs. Leaton had lived in Ontario as a girl. She was married to Mike Anrig, to which union two children, Phillip Anrig of White Salmon and Sylvia Holly of Glenwood, were born.
     In her second marriage to Frank Leaton, who survives her, two children, Faye and Calvin Leaton of Glenwood, were born to the couple. Survivors include three grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. Mary Nichols; three brothers, John, William and Cecil Nichols, and two sisters, Mrs. Grace Arnold and Mrs. Elmer Loose, all of White Salmon.
     Mrs. Leaton was a member of Mt. Adams Emblem Club 321 of White Salmon; the Glenwood Women's Club; the Ladies Aid; Klickitat county Cow Belles; Camas Prairie Pioneer Association, Glenwood; Grange No. 94; and the Glenwood Homemaker club.
     Pallbearers were Roscoe Imrie, Howard Murray, Merle Akerill, Osmar Kuhnhausen, Frank Lyle and Ollie Kreps.

Funeral services for Mrs. Frank C. (Dorothy Alta) Leaton, 42, Glenwood were held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 30 at the Glenwood church. Gardners Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements. The Roger L. Clevenger officiated assisted by the Rev. Clarence Twigg officiated. Burial was in Mt. Adams Cemetery, Glenwood. Casket bearers were Howard Murray, Osmar Kuhnhausen, O.P. Kreps, Frank Lyle, Roscoe Imery and Merle Akerill. Mrs. Leaton was born Jan. 6, 1919 at Lyle, the daughter of the late Clyde and Mary Nichols. She attended Columbia High School from 1934 - 1936. She died Saturday, Aug. 26, 1961 at Vancouver Memorial Hospital where she had been a patient since Aug. 10. Dorothy was a member of Mt. She is survived by her husband, Frank C. Leaton of Glenwood; children, Phillip Anrig of White Salmon, Mrs. Daniel (Sylvia) Holly, Gaye Addie Leaton and F. Calvin Leaton, all of Glenwood. Also her mother, Mrs. Mary Nichols; three brothers, Cecil, John and William Nichols; sisters, Margaret Loose and Grace Arnold, all of White Salmon; and three grandchildren. Dorothy's friendly and generous nature were outstanding. She was one of Glenwood Valley's and Klickitat County's best known citizens.
