DONALD L. HUTCHINS

     A veteran of World War II, Donald L Hutchins, of Lyle died on May 16 at Good Samaritan Hospital. He was 72.
     Mr. Hutchins was born in Lakeland, Minn. on Nov. 11, 1918 to Effie M. (Downing) and Homer H. Hutchins. He moved to the area in 1928 and worked for many years for the Washington state Department of Transportation.
     He is survived by his wife Joyce of Lyle; children, Cindy Saunders of Lyle and Robert Hutchins of Belfair, Wash.; sisters Margaret Holcomb and Florence Smith, both of Baker; brother, Harold Hutchins of Medford; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren; preceded in death by a granddaughter.
     No services were held. Cremated remains will be buried in Lyle Balch Cemetery.
