MOTHER SEES SON BEFORE SHE DIES
Husum (special) Altho Mrs. Della Thompson of Husum was
in a partial coma since she suffered a stroke on May 12 and her right side
and speech was paralyzed, she was occasionally able to recognize members
of her family and a few friends.
On Wednesday, May 31 her son Loyd Merryfield arrived
from San Bernardino, Calif. She recognized him and he returned to California
only to be called back immediately on Friday, June 2 - too late for Mrs.
Thompson to know her son was at her side.
