Delbert M. Hamllik of Yakima died Saturday, Oct. Jan.
2. He was 80.
He was born in May 30, 1907 in Goldendale, to Frank and
Cora Hamllik. He attended schools in Goldendale and was united in marriage
to Sadie Erkkila Sept. 3, 1929.
He was employed with Klickitat Pine Box and later Boise
Cascade, transferring to Yakima in 1962. He retired from the mill in 1972.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an avid rock hound.
He is survived by his wife, Sadie, of Yakima and one
daughter, Mrs. Ray (Nadine) McKinney of Goldendale. Three grandchildren;
Mrs. David (Susan) Erland of Selah, Mrs. Tom (Judy) Seifert of Goldendale
and Greg McKinney of Beaverton; and five great-grand children.
Two sisters, Mrs. George (Geneva) Willis and Mrs. Paul
(Sylvia) Weiss of Goldendale also survive. He was preceded in death by five
brothers.
Funeral services were held in Jan. 6, in the chapel of
Knosher-Erdman Funeral Home, with Pastor Skip Mitchell of the First Baptist
Church officiating. Interment was in the Centerville Cemetery.

YAKIMA - Mr. Delbert M. Hamllik, 90, of Yakima, passed
away Saturday, January 2, 1988.
Mr. Hamllik was born May 30, 1907 in Goldendale to Frank
and Cora Hamllik. He attended schools in Goldendale and later married Sadie
Erkkila, September 3, 1929. He was employed by Klickitat Pine Box and later
Boise Cascade, transferring to Yakima in 1962. He retired from the mill in

p.m., at Knosher-Erdman Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Centerville Cemetery.

Delbert M. Hamllik, 80, of Yakima, died Saturday at Yakima
Convalescent Center.
Mr. Hamllik was born in Goldendale. In Goldendale he
worked for Klickitat Pine Box Factory and Boise Cascade. He worked at the
Boise Cascade in Yakima from 1962 until retiring in 1972.
Survivors include his wife, Sadie Hamllik of Yakima;
a daughter, Nadine McKinney of Goldendale; and two sisters, Geneva Willis
and Sylvia Weiss, both of Goldendale.
Knosher-Erdman Funeral Home, Goldendale, is handling
arrangements.
