DONALD T. JOHANSON
Donald T. Johanson, a resident of Lyle for the last 11
years, died March 31 in Portland at the age of 57.
He was born May 25, 1924, in Chicago, Ill., to Mr. and
Mrs. Adolph Johanson.
Mr. Johanson was a supervisor of the boiler room at Diamond
Fruit Growers in Hood River. He was a member of the Lyle Full Gospel Assembly,
a counselor for Alcoholic Anonymous and a veteran of World War II and the
Korean War.
He is survived by his wife, Frankie; two daughters, Alice
Baudat, Switzerland, and Paula Miller, South Bend, Ore.; one son, Carl Johanson,
Lyle; one sister, Ethel Khen, Glenview, Ill.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mr. Johanson were held Monday at
11 a.m. at the Full Gospel Assembly in Lyle, with Les Haastad, Jeff Phipps
and Harold Grove officiating. Interment was at the Lone Pine Cemetery in
Lyle.
Contributions may be made to the Sunday school annex
of the Full Gospel Assembly.

Donald T. Johanson, 57, of Lyle, Wash., died March 31

Johanson came to Lyle in 1971. He was the supervisor

Ill.; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 5 at 11 a.m.
at the Full Gospel Assembly at Lyle, with Les Haastad, Jeff Phipps and Harold
Grove officiating. Interment was at the Lone Pine Cemetery in Lyle.
