THOMAS RITES ARE HELD MON.
Was Resident of Klickitat County for Past 17 Years; Had Many Friends Here
Funeral services were held Monday at the Bingen church for O.D. Thomas, long-time resident of Bingen and Washington. The rites were conducted by Gardner's home, Rev. Stark officiating with interment following in the White Salmon I.O.O.F. cemetery.
OBITUARY
Oliver B. Thomas, a resident of Klickitat county for
the past 17 years and who lived in Washington for thirty-two years, passed
away at his home in Bingen Saturday evening following an illness of several
months duration. He leaves many friends and relatives throughout the community
to mourn his passing.
Mr. Thomas was born at Binninville, Missouri, October
30, 1855, and passed away April 19, 1936 at the age of 80 years, 6 months
and 11 days.
Four children survive: W.F. of Newport, Oregon; C.V.
and Mrs. Grace Tiederman of Bingen and H.R. of Elgin, Oregon. One grandson
and one great grandson, James Sampson and Jimmy Sampson, jr., also number
among the relatives.
