DOTTIE MAUPIN

Dottie Virginia Maupin was born August 3rd, 1920 at Rapid City, South Dakota, the daughter of Jessie and Ernest Powers. She passed away at Silverdale, Washington near Bremerton on July 22nd at the age of 50 years, eleven months and 19 days.

Surviving besides her hus­band, Melvin Maupin of Silverdale are three daughters: Linda Collins of Gig Harbor, Wash., Gloria Loiselle of Kelso, Wash., and Patricia Page of Vancouver, Wash.; her mother: Jessie Powers of Bingen, Wash.; sister: Alice Frye of East Moline, Ill.; four brothers: James Powers of Stevenson, Wash., Roland Powers of Tacoma, Wash., Cassious Powers of Vancouver, Wash., and Patrick Powers of Port Orchard, Wash.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, July 28th, 11 a.m. at Gardner's Funeral Home in White Salmon with Mr. Charles Morris and Mr. Wayne Harris officiating. Interment was in the White Salmon, Washington cemetery.

Casket bearers were: Charles VanDeventer, Doyle VanDeventer, Steve VanDeventer, Robert Lehmann, James Mau­pin, Carl Davidson.
