DOYLE W. "POPS" DIXON
A resident of Glenwood, Doyle Dixon died Nov. 6 at the
age of 65. Mr. Dixon, a retired logger, was born February 8, 1911, in Idaho,
and is survived by three brothers, Lawrence Dixon of Carey, Idaho, Donald
Dixon of Hailey, Idaho, and Cecil Dixon of Pocatello, Idaho; and one sister,
Velma Clark of Boise, Idaho.
Funeral for Mr. Dixon was set for Nov. 10, in the Pioneer
Memorial Church in Glenwood, with the Rev. John Davies officiating. Interment
was in Mt. Adams Cemetery in Glenwood. Gardner's Funeral Home, Inc. directed
services.

Funeral services were held today (Wednesday) for Doyle
W. "Pops" Dixon in the Pioneer Memorial Chapel in Glenwood.
He died Nov. 6 in his home in Glenwood. The Rev. John
Davies officiated with interment in Mt. Adams Cemetery.
Dixon was born February, 1911, to Mr. and Mrs. Alvin
Dixon in Picabo, Idaho. He moved to Glenwood in 1951 and was a logger.
He is survived by three brothers, Lawrence, Carey, Idaho;
Donald, Hailey, Idaho and Cecil, Pocatello, Idaho and one sister, Velma Clark
of Boise, Idaho.
Gardner Funeral Home, White Salmon, was in charge of
arrangements.
