EDWIN BAUER PASSES AWAY AUGUST 23RD
Edwin Adolph Bauer, 70, a long-time resident of Trout
Lake, died at his home on August 23. following several weeks of illness.
He was born in Christian County, Illinois on October 5, 1903 and was united
in marriage with Lucille Pope on December 19, 1925. Moving to Washington,
he became a logger and retired from that profession after many years.
He is survived by: his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Ray Holtmann,
of Trout Lake; three brothers, William Reiner, and Floyd, and one sister,
Ernestine, all of Illinois. He leaves two grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, August 27, 1974,
at the Trout Lake Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Keith Curry of Spokane,
former pastor of the Church, officiating. Burial was at the Trout Lake Cemetery.
