SERVICES FOR EMMA CROCKER TO BE HELD FRIDAY, NOV. 18TH
Funeral services for Emma Emelia Crocker, 68, well known
pioneer of the Centerville community who passed away Monday following an
extended illness, will be held from the Phillips Funeral Home in Goldendale
Friday, November 19, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. C.J. Hall officiating.
Mrs. Crocker is survived by four brothers and two sisters,
Joe, Fred and Charley Yeackel, all of Centerville; Henry Yeackel, of The
Dalles; Mrs. Fred Nesbitt, of Goldendale and Mrs. B.F. Allen, of Condon,
Oregon.
Interment will be made in the Centerville Grange cemetery.

EMMA AMELIA CROCKER
Emma Amelia Crocker was born in April 16, 1874 at Appleton,
Swift County, Minnesota. She came west with her family at the age of three
and one-half year. Her youth was spent in this Centerville community.
She was married to Jacob Crocker on March 17, 1896. To
the union one son was born, who died at the age of six months. Most of Mrs.
Crocker's life was spent in Goldendale, except about seven years that she
made her home in Kent, Oregon. She was a member of the German Lutheran church
and was highly esteemed by all who knew her.
Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. B.F. Allen of Condon,
Oregon and Mrs. F.M. Nesbitt, of Goldendale; four brothers, Henry Yeackel,
of The Dalles, Charles, Fred and Joe Yeackel of Centerville. She passed away
Monday, November 15, after an extended illness.
Services were held from the Phillips Funeral Home in
Goldendale with Rev. C.J. Hall officiating. Interment was in the Centerville
Grange cemetery.

Dies in Goldendale -- Henry Yeackel had word yesterday of the death in Goldendale Monday of his sister, Mrs. Emma Crocker, who had been seriously ill in the hospital there. Mrs. Crocker was formerly a resident of Sherman county and has visited often in The Dalles. Funeral arrangements were not completed yesterday.
