DOOLEY
Earl Dooley, 82, of Pomeroy passed away on Wednesday,
May 27, 1992 in Pomeroy. He was born May 22, 1910 at Goldendale to Harry
and Lillian Dooley.
He attended schools at Centerville and was married to
Virginia Tubant in 1932. The family lived at Roosevelt, where Dooley worked
on ranches. He and Muriel Dahl were united in marriage on May 13, 1955 at
Reno, Nev., and moved to the Palouse country in the 1960s, settling in Pomeroy
in 1969. Dooley was an avid horseman and enjoyed wrestling and automobiles.
He was a 50 year member of the Goldendale Grange.
He is survived by his wife, Muriel of Pomeroy, his daughters
Mary Ann Miller of Goldendale and Donna Jean Mehling of Pasco, one step daughter,
Beverly June Longly Howard of Fremont, Calif., seven grandchildren
and two step grandchildren, two brothers, Alfred of Klamath Falls and Riley
Dooley of Bonneville, one sister, Rosie Ann Adams and one niece Elizabeth
Brokaw, both of Goldendale.
Graveside services were held on June 4 at the Centerville
Cemetery with Pastor Thomas MacAdam officiating. Arrangements are under the
care of Knosher-Erdman Funeral Home.
