ELIZABETH A. NIELSON

     Elizabeth Ann Nelson, 41, White Salmon, died Jan. 4 at Skyline Hospital. Services were held Tuesday, January 9, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in White Salmon with Frank Butler officiating. Committal was at White Salmon Cemetery.
     She was born Sept. 19, 1948, in Phoenix, Ariz., to Marjorie (Turley) and William Kurcher. She was raised their and later married Dean Nielson. She became a homemaker and raised seven children.
     The Nielson family moved to White Salmon in 1985. Mrs. Nielson enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, painting and making craft items. She took an active part in raising her children, supporting them through school, sports, community and church activities.
     She is survived by husband Dean Nielson of White Salmon; mothers Marjorie Kircher of Phoenix; children Rex, Scott, Rhonda, Trisha, Julie, Kent and Keith Nielson of White Salmon, and brothers William Kurcher and Robert Kurcher, both of Arizona.
