EARNEST NORRIS

     Earnest Arron Norris, a former White Salmon resident, died following a long illness as Mercy Medical Center in Redding, Calif., on July 5, 2000, at the age of 70.
     Mr. Norris was born on March 19, 1930, in Cabool, Mo. He lived in White Salmon for a number of years and worked as a green chain puller at SDS Lumber Company in Bingen. He moved to Shasta County, Calif., in 1988. He was a member of the VFW and the Grange in Anderson, Calif., and a US Army veteran of Korea.
     He is survived by his two sisters Minnie Brewer, Anderson, Calif., and Mary Garrett, Pittsburg, Texas. Graveside services for Mr. Norris will be held Friday, July 14, 2000, at 11 a.m. at the White Salmon Cemetery.
