EDMOND ALFRED PORTNER
Edmond Alfred Portner died April 15, 1947 at White Salmon
at the age of 59 years, 7 months and 26 days.
He was employed by McCormick Lumber company at Northwestern
lake north of White Salmon. He was born in Switzerland on August 20, 1887.
He came to the United States in 1908.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Edna Woodard,
of Seattle, Washington; Miss Agnes Portner, of Colorado Springs, Colorado,
and Miss Louise Portner, of Hell City, South Dakota, and one brother, Charles
F. Portner, of White Salmon. His wife passed away in 1927.
Services will be held this Sunday, April 20, at 2:00
p.m. at Gardner's Funeral Home with George P. George officiating. Burial
will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery in White Salmon.
