ELIZABETH DURKEE
Elizabeth Durkee was born October 10th, 1878 in Iowa,
the daughter of Emma and James W. Enfield. Her husband, Burton Durkee passed
away May 4th, 1956.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Leona Gandolph of Vancouver,
Washington; two sons: Everett and L.P. Durkee both of Portland, Oregon. Also
three grandchildren and four sisters.
Mrs. Durkee passed away in Portland on July 16th at the
age of 80 years, 9 months and 6 days.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 21st
at the Gardner Funeral Home with the Rev. Mr. Oscar Olson officiating. Interment
was in the Appleton Cemetery.
Pall bearers were: Festus England, Kenneth Finley. William
Bates, Vic Johnson, Albert Johnson, Albin Bergland.

ELIZABETH DURKEE INTERRED TUESDAY
Funeral services for Mrs. Elizabeth Durkee, resident
of Klickitat, were held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 21 at Gardner's Funeral
Home in White Salmon. Rev. Oscar Olson of the White Salmon Methodist Church
officiated. Burial was in the Appleton Cemetery.
