GOLDENDALE MAN DIES ON FEB. 7

     Mr. Earl Burns passed away at the hospital in Goldendale, Washington on February 7th, 1971 at the age of 78.
     The funeral was held in the Community Church in Glenwood, Washington on February 11, 1971, and was buried in the Community Cemetery.
     Mr. Burns was born in Warsaw, Wisconsin in the year 1893. He came to Lynden, Washington as a small boy with his parents William and Nettie Burns. Later, in 1926, he came to Glenwood where he lived until his passing.
     He leaves a host of survivors; Harriett, his faithful companion, a daughter, Pearl Ellis; two sons, Johnny and Tommy Burns; thirteen grandchildren; one great grandson, two daughters-in-law; one sister-in-law; one son-in-law; two nephews, a brother Jim; and a host of friends.
     The Knoshers Funeral Home was in charge of funeral arrangements and Rev. Robert Bushyhead officiated.

EARL BURNS

     Earl Burns died at Klickitat Valley Hospital in Goldendale, February 7, 1971 at the age of 78. His funeral was held at the Community Church in Glenwood, February 11, burial in the Community Cemetery.
     Mr. Burns was born in Warsaw, Wi. in 1893 and came to Lynden, Wa. as a small boy with his parents William and Nettie Burns. In 1926 he came to Glenwood where he lived until his passing.
     He leaves as survivors; his widow, Harriett; a daughter, Pearl Ellis; two sons, Johnny and Tommy Burns; 13 grandchildren; one great-grandson, two nephews, and a brother Jim.
     Arrnagements were made by Knosher Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Bushyhead officiating.

"Glenwood"

GLENWOOD -- The community is saddened to hear that Earl Burns passed away Sunday night. He had returned from the hospital Monday of last week. Saturday morning he took a turn for the worse and was taken to the hospital in Goldendale by ambulance. We extend our sympathy to the family.
