SERVICES HELD FOR LONGTIME RESIDENT
Elizabeth C. Camp a resident of the White Salmon community
for the past 46 years, passed away on March 7th at her residence in White
Salmon.
Elizabeth C. Camp was the daughter of Elijah Robertson
and Amanda Tanner Robertson. She was born at Acworth, Georgia, on November
10, 1875, and was 82 years of age at the time of her passing.
She is survived by two sons: Rudolph J. Camp and Ben
H. Camp, both of the White Salmon; three grandchildren: Alzora Lee Camp,
Damon Cecil Camp and Joe Robert Camp, all of White Salmon.
Elizabeth C. Robertson was married to John H. Camp on
August 12, 1906.
Funeral services were held at Gardner's Funeral Home
at 2 p.m. on March 11 with the Rev. Clevenger officiating.
Pallbearers were Wm. Lauterbach, Orie Kreps, Edward Everet,
Ron Wilson, Ervin Powell, Lee Lloyd.
Interment was in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in White Salmon.

DEATH CALLS MRS. LIZZY CAMP
Services for Mrs. Celia Elizabeth (Lizzie) Camp, one
of White Salmon's best-known women for 46 years, were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday,
March 11, at Gardner's Funeral Home. The Rev. Roger Clevenger officiated.
Burial was in the Odd Fellows cemetery.
Mrs. Camp was born Nov. 10, 1875 in Acworth, Georgia
and was married August 12, 1906 to John A. Camp who died 47 years ago.
Mrs. Camp was admired for her remarkable self reliance
and hard work. Her home next to the Congregational parsonage was always a
show place of flowers from early spring to winter.
Surviving her are her two sons, Rudolph J. and Ben. H.,
both of White Salmon; and three grandchildren, Elzora Lee, Damon Cecil and
Joe Robert.
Pall bearers were Bill Lauterbach, Orie Kreps, Ed Everett,
Ron Wilson, Ervin Powell, Lee Lloyd, Ted Lehmann and Claude Ackley.
