"Lyle"

     Mrs. E.B. Hewett, lovingly known as Grandma Hewett, passed away Saturday afternoon. She was ill for the past year, and was 73 years of age. An obituary will follow.
     Mr. and Mrs. M. Cotrell of Appleton attended Grandma Hewett's funeral Sunday.
     Miss Martha Hewett was called home from Portland by the death of her grandmother. She will spend several days here with home folks before returning to her work in Portland.
     Archie and Frank Hewett of Camas, Wash., attended the funeral of their grandmother. Other members of the Hewett family from a distance to attend the funeral Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hewett of Washougal, Mrs. Ethel Gladdin of Woodlawn, Wash., and Mrs. Harry Hewett of St. Helens, Ore.
