The sad death of Mrs. Clarence Kuhnhausen occurred October 10th at the Hood River Hospital from blood poisoning. The body was brought to Glenwood for burial on October 12. Funeral services were conducted by S. Surface at the Alvia Kuhnhausen home at 1:30 p.m. She was 22 years old and leaves a small son and her husband, besides her mother, Mrs. Smith and three sisters and two brothers, besides many friends, who mourn her passing. The community extends their sympathy to the bereaved family in this, their saddest hour.

This community was shocked to learn of the sudden death of Mrs. Clarence Kuhnhausen (Ethel Smith) who formerly lived here. She passed away at the Hood River Hospital on Tuesday.

Mrs. Clarence Smith Kuhnhausen, of Glenwood, about 22 years of age, died at the Hood River hospital Tuesday morning. She leaves a husband and small son. The fuenral was held at Glenwood.
