EVELYN C. LANSING

     Evelyn C. Lansing of Carson died June 25 at Camas. She was 78.
     Mrs. Lansing was born on June 23, 1914 to Lotta M. (Lucas) and Charles A. Cooke in Lyle, where she spent her early years. She married Albert in 1973 and moved to Carson in 1981. Described as a generous person, Mrs. Lansing spent her time working as a waitress and helping other people.
     She is survived by her husband, Albert Lansing of Carson; son, Charles J. Forde of Vancouver; step-children, Albert J. and Patrick, both of Everett, Elaine M. Rogers of Marysville, Sarah J. Sweeney of Seattle; and Leese M. Brown of New Mexico.
     No services were held.

CARSON RESIDENT DIES

     Evelyn C. Lansing of Carson died June 25 at Camas. She was 78.
     Mrs. Lansing was born on June 23, 1914 in Lyle to Lotta M. (Lucas) and Charles A. Cooke.
     Mrs. Lansing was raised in Lyle. She married Albert in 1973. They moved to the Carson area in 1981.
     She worked for many years as a waitress. She was well known for her generosity and spent much of her time helping other people.
     Mrs. Lansing is survived by her husband of Carson; a son, Charles J. Forde of Vancouver; and step-children, Albert J. Lansing, Patrick A. Lansing, both of Everett; Elaine M. Rogers of Marysville, Wash.; Sarah J. Sweeney of Seattle; and Leese M. Brown of Albuquerque, N.M.
     There was no service at Mrs. Lansing's request.
