MILLE MURRAY RITES TUESDAY IN GLENWOOD
Emillie Catherine Murray, resident of White Salmon, passed
away on September 15th at Skyline Hospital. She was born March 27, 1882 in
Roanoke, Floyd County, West Virginia, the daughter of Louisa and Hiram Hylton.
She came to Camas Prairie, Washington to be the bride of Henry Riley Murray,
April 9, 1909. Her husband, Henry Riley Murray and six children preceded
her in death.
Surviving are five daughters: Edith Kuhnhausen of Portland,
Oregon; Wilma Driver of White Salmon, Washington; Thelma Kuhnhausen of Vancouver,
Washington; Viola Walker of Fortuna, California and Jean King of Everett,
Washington. One son: Wallace Murray of Portland, Oregon. One sister: Hattie
Markgraf of Oakland, California. Twenty-three grandchildren and a number
of great grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services were held Tuesday, September
21st at 2 p.m. in the Mt. Adams Cemetery at Glenwood, Washington with Rev.
Donald Kaelin of the White Salmon United Methodist Church
officiating.
Casket bearers were: Dwayne Murray, Michael Tupper, John
King, Ted Kuhnhausen, Konrad Kuhnhausen, Kane Kuhnhausen.
